SITS temporary executive met for the first time today. Enthusiasm to rebuild SITS was clearly visible as there was a 100% attendance of the current temporary executive. This included: Arne Schreiber (President), Sam Saili (Vice President), Tanuli Tinai-Chan (Secretary), Sarai Tevita (Treasurer), Filifilia Iosefa (Executive), Oscar Isaia (Executive) and Ainsof So'o (Executive).

Four requests for membership were approved unanimously. Planning for this years events was also laid out. This could possibly consist of workshop/seminar on SPAM issues as well as a presentation regarding the Sub-Marine cable soon to enter Samoa.

The temporary executive will meet again in three weeks time for a status report.
