The President’s report was presented, Audit accounts were tabled and passed, matters were discussed of the previous meeting’s AGM and passed and new Executive Committee was elected.

President Sam Saili remarked, "It is an honour to be asked to be the president of SITS for 2010-11, but also very daunting looking at the support and participation from all the members currently. Getting everyone involved and participating again is a huge task but the whole Executive is committed and very capable of achieving this goal. We will come up with an Events calendar soon so we all know what is coming up and all can participate in events that you enjoy. We will of course be talking to everyone for their input as it is your opinion that matters or else no one will turn up to the events."

"Lastly I would like to extend great thanks and appreciation to the previous Executive. It is evident that SITS as a society is back on the map for decision makers of the country evident by the invitation and participation of the Executive in meetings with NICT, SAME, Chamber and other Regional bodies. We will make sure we continue with this important area of our society and grow even more. Now is the time to work on the internal part of our society. "
